What's Happening at St. Luke's?
April 10, 2021
Thanks to St. Luke's volunteers at the Philly Spring CleanUp
As you have life events and want to share them with your St. Luke's family, please leave a message or speak to your clergy
On Sunday, April 11th, 2021 we will be blessed by the ministry of Ms. Nathalie Barnett-Dill. Currently, Nathalie is a second year student in the St. Mellitus Affiliate (Bermuda) school of ministry. As a member of the Ministry Team, Nathalie leads and supports public worship services. Her training includes preaching, hence, she is aptly prepared to share the Homily. Nathalie is due to graduate from St. Mellitus in June this year with a Certificate in Theology and Christian Ministry. Employed by the Bermuda Hospitals Board, she is well-rounded for exploring her career and ministry in our community. Nathalie is a mother, advocate, and friend to many.
Volunteers needed. St. John's at Diocesan Center (Norristown) will be a vaccine center this Spring and Summer. We have opportunities for volunteers to help out Tuesday through Friday from 11 am-3pm. (The time will change from 2 pm-6pm in mid-May.) For the first few weeks the focus is on vaccinating those experiencing homelessness. Please review the available slots and sign up to volunteer. We have spots for nurses to help administer the vaccine and volunteers to help the clinic run smoothly.
Volunteers will help:
• pre-register guests
• register guests
• pass out education material
• help direct guests to vaccine area
