BAPTISMS, MARRIAGES AND FUNERALS

Baptisms, Marriages and Burials within the Episcopal Church are liturgical events in which individuals and families experience God’s love and the congregation’s support as they make critical life transitions. Each ritual, then, emphasizes the importance of the congregation’s role in upholding those being initiated or beginning a new stage in their lives. Each also affirms God’s active renewing presence in all stages of human development.

At St. Luke’s, we use the specific forms found in The Book of Common Prayer for Holy Baptism, the Celebration and Blessing of a Marriage and the Burial of the Dead.
